Baptists are known for having a Passion for Missions and the First Baptist Church of Mansfield is no exception.  In fact, the church excels in mission giving, supporting a wide variety of causes, internationally, nationally and locally. The First Baptist Church of Mansfield consistantly ranks in the top ten percent of giving churches for the state.

In addition to our 3 missionary families,the church also provides support t to The Sumner family and their ministy with InterVaristy Christian Fellowship and  Rev. Hector Newman in Honduras.

Nationally, The First Baptist Church of Mansfield supports four  offerings of the American Baptist Churches of The USA annually:

The White Cross Overland Quota the year for 2006/7 was for First Crow Indian Baptist Church in Lodge Grass, Montana.  They requested some Christmas items which were mailed in December.  The balance of the request will be filled and mailed by February 2007.  Overseas cash quota were met for Haiti and  for China .  Material or money for sewing kits were requested for the Philippines with optional  Disaster Kits requested as part of “Gifts of the Heart.”
